I heard Keith Moore say something referencing the “thief of unbelief”. I believe it was a song or a teaching of Keith Moore’s. I wrote down the words as I thought they were very insightful. He was speaking about the lack of faith, which is unbelief. Looking back at my notes, I thought I would share this with you!
“The reason for defeat is unbelief. When you’re robbed by the thief of unbelief, that’s the cause of many blessings not received.
If you waiver and doubt, you will rule your blessing out, and you’re robbed by the thief of unbelief.
God gave the land of Canaan to his children and He said, lo I am with you, go on in. But when they saw those giants tall, they had no faith of all, and they were robbed by the thief of unbelief.
The disciples failed to set a young man free, even though they had authority, and when they asked the master why, to them he just replied, you were robbed by the thief of unbelief.
Peter walked upon the water, but he let those circumstances turn his head, and when he should have walked right on, he forgot the word he was standing on, and he was robbed by the thief of unbelief.
The worse thing that can happen to you is unbelief. There is nothing too hard for God to fix.”
Keith Moore has an extensive list of free teachings and music that will uplift your spirit, teach you God’s Word, and encourage you in your personal walk with God. You can download the teachings and music, and listen to it on your PC, I-pod, or other device. Here’s the website: http://www.moorelife.org/freedownloads.php
Remember Abraham? He believed God and his belief was credited to him as righteousness (See Romans 4:3, Galatians 3:6, Genesis 15:6).
