100+ Praise Scriptures – Bible Verses About Praising God

Establishing intentional time for private praise of our Lord is critical to transformation in our lives as we get to know Him and experience His love.  Praise restores our faith, fills us with joy, calms our fears, changes our perspective, and inspires us to love and obey God.
Praise is the way of thanking God for everything He has done for us.

And, when we don’t understand what is going on in our life, praise is a way of saying to the Lord, “I trust in You regardless of my situation” or even “I trust You with my own disappointment in the turnout of this situation.”  Basically, even when your situation is challenging or difficult, you are telling the Lord, through your praise, that “You are good and I trust you in this situation, and I am going to celebrate way ahead of any breakthrough I could have in my future as a result of this situation.”

Praising God was His idea in the first place!  God invites us to praise Him, not just because praise gives God His due, but also because of what it does in us and for us.  God is excited to have us come and spend time with Him.  He longs for intimacy with us.  Interested in a fresh awakening to the Holy Spirit’s voice and power?  Praising Him is the perfect way to begin hearing His voice more clearly.  Start by spending 20 minutes a day reviewing praise scriptures.  You can also add praise music to your worship time.  Are you ready to experience a more intimate relationship with the living God?  Read and use these bible verses to help in your praise and worship time with the Lord!
