One day, God shows me a vision of two hands holding an alabaster jar.  The beautiful translucent white jar was very carefully held by two extended hands being slightly raised up in the air.  Think of yourself carefully holding an incredible almost round white alabaster jar away from you, just as if you were giving it to someone.

Then God said to me, “She gave me her prized possession”.  God was referencing Mark 14:3-8, which says:

³ Meanwhile, Jesus was in Bethany at the home of Simon, a man who had previously had leprosy. While he was eating, a woman came in with a beautiful alabaster jar of expensive perfume made from essence of nard. She broke open the jar and poured the perfume over his head.

⁴ Some of those at the table were indignant. “Why waste such expensive perfume?” they asked. ⁵ “It could have been sold for a year’s wages and the money given to the poor!” So they scolded her harshly.

⁶ But Jesus replied, “Leave her alone. Why criticize her for doing such a good thing to me? ⁷ You will always have the poor among you, and you can help them whenever you want to. But you will not always have me. ⁸ She has done what she could and has anointed my body for burial ahead of time. ⁹ I tell you the truth, wherever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman’s deed will be remembered and discussed.”

When God said to me that the woman had given Him her prized possession, I mentally surveyed the possessions in my home.  I could not think of one thing that came to mind that I would consider a “prized possession”.

I then asked God, “What is my prized possession?”

God answered, “Your heart.”

My response: “Lord, I give you my whole heart.”

Mark 12:28-30 (AMP) ²⁸ Then one of the scribes [an expert in Mosaic Law] came up and listened to them arguing [with one another], and noticing that Jesus answered them well, asked Him, “Which commandment is first and most important of all?” ²⁹ Jesus answered, “The first and most important one is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord; ³⁰ and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul (life), and with all your mind (thought, understanding), and with all your strength.’
